CoverScout 3.x Cover Art Software

All users wanting to benefit from Cover Flow on the widescreen display of the upcoming iPhone, should manage their iTunes library with CoverScout. It adds a bit of flavor to your iTunes library by jumping in and finding missing covers whenever iTunes reaches its boundaries. As with the iPod and Apple TV, the iPhone gets its content from the iTunes library. Even though iTunes 7 added a "Get Album Artwork" function - of course it will only search for covers on the iTunes store. CoverScout 2.3.4 can scout album artwork on Amazon-websites and displays the results in a preview, allowing you to select the images you want to apply to your songs. In the rare case you can't find the covers you're looking for on the Internet, you can use the built-in snapshot feature to take a picture of the actual cover with your iSight camera and later edit it in the CoverScout editor. The current version, CoverScout 2.3.4 is optimized for Mac OS X 10.4.10 and iTunes 7.2. Therefore it is ready for iPhone, Apple TV and even your iPod. As soon as the program starts, CoverScout gets information on all songs currently in your iTunes library and presents them in a concise list. The overall design let you know at a glance which album covers are missing, which ones are available and which ones have ID3 covers. Of course, you can always just manually assign covers for songs in your iTunes library, one at a time, but why do all the work yourself, when CoverScout can do it for you?
