The ProSafe VPN Client software is easy to set up and works seamlessly with the full line of NETGEAR VPN/Firewall routers. It is also compatible with IPSec VPN solutions from other manufacturers. The software supports many connection types and Microsoft Windows platforms.
The security protocols supported include Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Data Encryption Standard (DES), 3DES, Message-Digest Algorithm (MD5), and Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-1). A wide range of Smart Cards, Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Internet Key Exchange (IKE - Main and Aggressive modes) systems are also supported.
Easy to Set Up
When used with NETGEAR ProSafe VPN/Firewall routers, NETGEAR provides pre-configuration files for the easiest setup, minimizing any extra costs. A graphical user interface lets you configure certificates and policies. With the included modules, diagnosing connection problems is easy.
Advanced Features
Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal is supported with devices that have a VPN pass-through mode. Multiple configurations are supported, including central, block, and split tunneling.

I think the title about says it all. I couldn't get the software to work with my Netgear router so I called support. Since my router was out of warranty, they wouldn't provide me support even though...
